This server Overlander.Social is a private, closed Mastodon instance built for fellow travelers, local expats, nature lovers and anybody interested in wild places to stay who want a safer space to share hobbies, repair tips, news, Youtube music videos, personal connections and travel experiences. Unlike larger public social networks, this community is isolated from other Mastodon servers and the wider fediverse — think of it as a digital bunker for your posted information to the web.
Now here is the beauty. If the community approves, we can actually add other servers we like to interact with. It will be a bit less private. However, you can post something publicly to this server, or you can still post privately just for your followers (friends). Why not give it a try!
